Wales Coast Path (Meirionnydd)

Follows Meirionnydd's dramatic coastline with steep climbs over headlands, sandy stretches, and clifftop sections offering stunning Cardigan Bay views. Terrain varies significantly—expect challenging gradients, uneven paths, and exposed areas unsuitable for buggies or very young children. Dogs welcome but keep leashed near livestock and nesting birds. Delivers wild coastal scenery, hidden coves, and proper Welsh seaside atmosphere worth the effort.

Taith Egryn Walk

Loops through quiet farmland and coastal heath near Llanegryn with gentle to moderate slopes and occasional steep sections near the shoreline. Suitable for older children but not buggies due to uneven ground and stiles. Dogs welcome on leads around livestock. Rewards walkers with sweeping views across the Dysynni Valley toward Cadair Idris and glimpses of the Cambrian coastline, showcasing classic mid-Wales scenery without the crowds.
