Follows undulating terrain through rural Shropshire with moderate climbs, linking quiet lanes and field paths between Wem and Grinshill. Not suitable for buggies due to stiles and uneven ground; older children who can manage distance will cope fine. Dogs welcome but expect livestock in fields, so leads essential. Rewards with panoramic views from Grinshill Hill's distinctive sandstone ridge and passes through classic north Shropshire countryside dotted with black-and-white timber-framed building

Tackles 22km of Shropshire's rolling countryside with moderate climbs through farmland and woodland stretches. The length and terrain make this unsuitable for buggies and challenging for young children, though older kids who can manage distance will enjoy it. Dogs welcome on leads near livestock. Rewards walkers with classic border county landscapes, quiet villages, and a proper day's hiking that showcases the varied terrain between the Welsh Marches and Shropshire's heartland.
