South West Coast Path (Section 48: Abbotsbury to Ferrybridge)
Tackles moderate to steep coastal climbs with dramatic cliff-top views over Chesil Beach and Portland Harbour. The terrain is rugged with uneven paths, stiles, and exposed sections—not suitable for buggies and challenging for very young children. Dogs welcome but keep them on leads near livestock and cliff edges. Offers stunning Jurassic Coast scenery, fascinating geology, and the chance to spot seabirds while experiencing one of England's most spectacular coastal stretches.
