Meadow Farm Holiday Park

The early morning mist rolls in from the nearby Ribble Valley, settling gently over neatly trimmed pitches where canvas and metal gleam with dew. This working farm turned year-round holiday park sits in the Lancashire countryside, offering straightforward camping and caravanning for those who prefer function over frills in England's often-overlooked North West.

Traditional tourers and modern campervans share space with those arriving under canvas, all welcomed to a site that keeps things refreshingly simple. Lancashire's position between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales makes this a practical base for exploring both, whilst the county's own market towns and coastal stretches at Morecambe Bay warrant attention closer to home.

Essential facilities include clean shower blocks and toilets serving the touring pitches. The campfire policy requires checking on arrival, so those hoping for evening flames should enquire when booking. The year-round opening means you can pitch through all seasons, experiencing the farm's changing character from summer warmth to crisp winter mornings. It's unpretentious, accessible countryside camping with Lancashire's pastoral heartland as your backdrop.
