The circular route combines coastal scenery with quieter inland sections, passing ancient earthworks and wildflower meadows. Suitable for older children and dogs on leads (livestock nearby), but not buggies due to narrow paths and stiles. Worth it for the raw coastal beauty and relatively quiet National Trust headland—spectacular on a clear day.

DInas Island Circular Walk, Pembroke

Loops around a dramatic headland jutting into the Irish Sea, with steep coastal climbs and uneven cliff-edge paths – not suitable for buggies or very young children. Dogs welcome on leads near livestock and cliff edges. Rewards walkers with sweeping views across Newport Bay, wildflower meadows in spring, and excellent seabird watching from the rocky promontory that almost forms a true island at high tide.

Garn Fawr Viewpoint Walk, Pembroke

Climbs steadily to Iron Age hill fort ruins at Garn Fawr summit with sweeping 360-degree views over Strumble Head and the Pembrokeshire coast. Short but steep ascent on rocky, uneven paths unsuitable for buggies and challenging for very young children. Dogs welcome but keep close near cliff edges. The panoramic coastal vistas and ancient earthworks make this a rewarding quick climb for anyone reasonably fit.
