The raw scent of peat and seaweed drifts across Ardtower Caravan Park as waves from the nearby coastline provide a constant, rhythmic soundtrack to your Highland stay. This is the Highlands stripped back to essentials—no frills, just the elemental beauty of Scotland's northern reaches where mountains meet sky in ever-changing displays of light and weather.
Ardtower welcomes tents, campervans and caravans throughout the year, making it a solid base for those seeking authentic Highland experiences whatever the season. The park's year-round opening means you can chase the summer sun or brave the dramatic winter landscapes that make this region so compelling. It's suited to self-sufficient campers who value location and landscape over resort-style amenities.
Facilities cover the basics with toilets and showers provided. Campfire policies vary, so check what's permitted when you arrive—there's nothing quite like watching flames dance against a Highland dusk. The vibe here is straightforward and unspoiled, letting the extraordinary Highland scenery do the talking while you simply pitch up and breathe it all in.
