South West Coast Path (Section 29: Helford to Falmouth)
Follows dramatic clifftops and secluded coves along the Helford River estuary before sweeping into Falmouth harbour. Expect moderate to steep coastal inclines with some challenging stepped sections and narrow cliff paths—not suitable for buggies or very young children. Dogs welcome on leads near livestock and cliff edges. The stunning estuary views, hidden beaches at Maenporth and Swanpool, and the rewarding arrival into historic Falmouth make this a classic Cornish coastal stretch.
